I am a gamer who loves being able to switch between gaming and watching TV. I wanted a TV that was a good size, had an easy to use remote, and had a full array backlight display. Here is why I went with the Hisense 32H3B1 32-Inch 720p LED TV.
Now, before I go any further I want to squash one commonly held belief. “If it isn’t a commonly known household brand, is it still good?” Here’s the thing people – All of these machines are made in China now, and the differences are minimal. You will see the results.
Features and specifications
- Full Array Backlight Display technology
- Refresh rate: 60Hz
- Equipped with HDMI and USB inputs
- ENERGY STAR certified TV
- Audio Return Channel
Best Priced 32 in without skimping on HD quality
A flat screen display with up to 1080p quality doesn’t usually come at a price like this. When this is right in front of your face on a desktop, the 16:09 aspect ratio seems like you are in a mini movie theatre. When I see the “casing” of this TV, it is nice and thin and low profile. I love the way the legs swing outward and have a thin plastic base. They are more like feet because they are so unnoticeable.
Easy to Use Remote
Why would someone focus so much on a remote? Like I said, I am a gamer and I want to be able to pop in-between gaming and my TV input in seconds. The input button on most remotes is buried. This is so easy to use and there is relatively no lag between inputs.
Full Array Backlight Display
My mom makes me turn off all the lights downstairs after 8pm because she wants to save energy. With the full array backlight display, I really feel like I am well covered by the light. I can game all night long.
The Bottom Line
Could I get a better TV if I spent a little bit more, sure, but I am very happy with the Hisense 32H3B1 32-Inch 720p LED TV. It comes at a reasonable price without sacrificing the quality. I actually think I may buy 3 more of these and create a 4 screen linked display!
